WalletConnect Names LOBSTR First Wallet Live With WalletConnect Pay on Stellar

WalletConnect and Penrose Partners plan a Bermuda rollout, with Premier Tickets payments expected to begin in Q2 2027.

WalletConnect named LOBSTR, built by Ultra Stellar, the first wallet live with WalletConnect Pay on Stellar on Oct. 29, giving the service a confirmed live wallet on a network it had already supported. Stellar appeared among networks enabled for Pay in the third quarter and among networks supported by WalletConnect’s wallet and app software development kits.

WalletConnect and Penrose Partners also plan a Bermuda merchant rollout, with Premier Tickets (PTIX) expected to be the first merchant. Payments are expected to go live in Q2 2027; no specific date is set.

Under the planned PTIX setup, payments would move from a customer’s wallet to an event organizer’s wallet. PTIX would not hold the funds, which are expected to arrive within seconds.
