Polymarket said it had repaid 689 of 726 wallets affected by a malicious script on its international platform as of Friday morning. Payments to the remaining 37 are underway as the accounts are verified.

The platform put total reimbursements at about $3.9 million. The total includes $2.7 million taken from users’ accounts and $1.19 million for about 5,500 wallets affected by the trading halt or by positions being taken.

The breach occurred Thursday, Oct. 29. The update follows Polymarket’s earlier disclosure of the incident and initial $2.7 million loss estimate, detailed in earlier coverage of the trading halt. Polymarket previously said it fixed the issue and resumed trading, and that its U.S. platform was not affected.

Polymarket has promised a postmortem on the incident.
