Jito Names Bitwise, Triton One and SOL Strategies as First BAM Operators
All three firms have hardware ready and are deploying nodes on testnet; Jito expects the early-mainnet stage to begin before the end of 2026.

Jito has named Bitwise, Triton One and SOL Strategies as the first outside operators for Solana’s Block Assembly Marketplace (BAM), beginning a staged move beyond Jito-run nodes. The rollout starts on testnet and is intended to widen access to validators as additional stages come online.
Before this move, Jito operated all BAM nodes on both testnet and mainnet. Bitwise, Triton One and SOL Strategies have prepared bare-metal hardware and are installing nodes inside confidential virtual machines (CVMs) while connecting them to the testnet. The deployments are underway, making testnet the first step in a three-part operator expansion.
The second stage is an early-mainnet rollout that Jito expects to start before the end of 2026. Nodes in that phase will be available only to the operators’ own BAM validators. The final stage is targeted for early in the first quarter of 2027 and would let any validator use the nodes. That places general validator availability after the limited initial mainnet use.
The final stage depends on two components in development: attestations and a verifier. The verifier is intended to check whether block producers follow the transaction order established by BAM nodes. Jito also plans Autobahn, an automated ban feature for ordering violations. These functions form part of the path to broader access.
BAM nodes handle transactions and bundles before passing them to the Solana leader validator, which produces the block. The system is designed to support programmable transaction ordering and revenue for validators, node operators and applications. The role BAM plays in Solana block building centers on this transaction flow.
The three firms received no additional economic incentives for this onboarding. Jito plans to publish a process for future operators and an economic model for maintaining BAM nodes. The next planned milestone is early mainnet before the end of 2026, ahead of the broader access target in early 2027.
