The post called the total a monthly record; an earlier October count covered about 3.3 billion successful non-vote transactions.

Solana amplified an @tokens post describing 3.4 billion successful transactions in October as a monthly record, a figure that is not directly comparable with the network’s earlier non-vote tally.

The earlier October count was about 3.3 billion successful non-vote transactions, the measure’s sixth monthly high in a row. Successful non-vote transactions exclude validator votes, which validators use to coordinate agreement on Solana’s state.

Non-vote totals rose from 2.93 billion in August to 3.18 billion in September before reaching roughly 3.3 billion in October. The 3.4 billion claim is described as a successful-transaction total, while the earlier count specifically covers successful non-vote transactions. Those labels describe different measures, so the totals do not establish a like-for-like increase.

Non-vote activity includes trades, transfers and payments.
