Huawei Cloud Plans Nov. 15 Release of openPangu-2.1-Pro

The update targets ArkTS code generation for HarmonyOS native apps and Ascend operator development.

Huawei Cloud plans to add openPangu-2.1-Pro to its Model as a Service (MaaS) platform on Nov. 15. The update is designed to improve ArkTS code generation for HarmonyOS native apps and make Ascend operator development more efficient.

Existing in-service users have received an official text message in advance about the planned release.

The update also includes AgentArts, Huawei Cloud’s agent platform, CodeArts and OfficeAce among other core products.

The model name and date add specifics to Huawei Cloud’s earlier plan for a new openPangu generation, which did not identify a model or release date.
