TFH Technology CEO Alex Blania said online viewers may soon lose a reliable way to tell genuine people from synthetic ones, predicting that distinction could disappear within three months.

TFH Technology works on tools to authenticate human interactions online. Its work with platforms including Zoom and Reddit focuses on verifying that online interactions involve real people.

Blania has also introduced World ID for banking and finance, a package that combines human checks for Zoom calls with credentials users can delegate to AI agents to counter deepfakes and impersonation.

Other efforts target specific channels: Modulate’s audio-focused platform includes deepfake detection, while DetectifAI’s voice-authentication models are designed for phone calls.
