Grayscale has officially launched options trading for its Solana Trust ETF (GSOL), expanding investment opportunities and enhancing flexibility for investors seeking exposure to the Solana ecosystem. The move positions Grayscale as a frontrunner in Solana-based financial products, marking another milestone for institutional participation in the fast-growing blockchain network.
According to the asset manager’s announcement on X, options for GSOL are now live. The ETF features 100% staking and a 0% management fee, offering investors an average annual staking reward of over 7%. This structure enables investors to earn from staking yields while simultaneously benefiting from Solana’s market movements.
The introduction of options trading on GSOL follows Grayscale’s launch of its Solana ETF just two weeks ago. While Bitwise also rolled out its SOL fund during the same period, Grayscale has taken the lead in providing derivative instruments, with Bitwise President confirming that options trading for BSOL is also set to go live soon. These advancements highlight growing institutional access to Solana-focused investment products, enabling strategic risk management, yield optimization, and improved market price discovery.
Investor enthusiasm remains strong, with Solana ETFs seeing 10 consecutive days of inflows as of November 10, totaling $6.78 million in new capital. Since their debut on October 28, the two Solana ETFs have collectively attracted $342.48 million, underscoring robust investor confidence despite Solana’s 18.21% price decline over the past month.
Currently priced at $159.09, Solana continues to show vibrant network activity, boasting over 3.2 million active wallets and 70 million daily transactions in October. The sustained inflows into Solana ETFs, combined with Grayscale’s innovative options offering, affirm the growing institutional belief in Solana as a long-term investment and a key player in the digital asset market.
