Phantom users in the United States pay a combined $0.02 in trading fees per Kalshi contract, plus a variable network fee when moving funds to the exchange.

Each platform adds one cent to the contract’s trading cost: Phantom charges $0.01, and Kalshi charges $0.01. The network fee for transferring money to Kalshi varies and is separate from that total.

Users can fund purchases from Phantom Cash or with any Solana token. Payments go to Kalshi to buy contracts. When a user sells a contract or wins, Stripe routes the proceeds into Phantom Cash.

Before trading, users must pass Kalshi identity checks, which can request a Social Security number and U.S. government-issued ID. They can create a Kalshi account through Phantom or link an existing account. Funds held in Phantom and Kalshi accounts remain separate.

Phantom’s staged U.S. rollout began Friday, Oct. 23, as detailed in TokenPost’s earlier coverage of Kalshi markets inside Phantom. Availability varies by jurisdiction.
