Polymarket Puts WTI’s Odds of Topping $110 at 31% for Rest of October

The figure is a contract probability, not a quoted WTI price. Trump also said oil prices would fall soon.

A Polymarket contract put the chance of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude topping $110 a barrel during the rest of October at 31% at 8:01 a.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 25.

The figure is the contract’s probability estimate for the threshold, not a quoted WTI price. The market asks whether the U.S. benchmark will rise above $110 a barrel before the month ends. The reading was below 34% at 12:54 p.m. ET Friday, Oct. 23, in an earlier update on the same contract.

Trump said Sunday that oil prices would fall soon. He had previously said the United States could end the Iran war quickly and raised the question of ending it or letting the conflict fade gradually. Trump also claimed the United States could take all of Iran’s oil.

The contract covers the remaining days of October, so its 31% figure applies to that deadline. It does not indicate WTI’s current price.
