Polymarket is reviewing dozens of new wallets used for late bets on Israel’s Oct. 27 election, after positions backing Benjamin Netanyahu and Likud gained value following exit polls.

The bets centered on Netanyahu remaining prime minister and Likud winning the most seats. Exit polling pointed to a stronger result for Likud than earlier election updates had indicated.

Separately, 101 Polymarket accounts received their first funding on election day before polls closed. By Friday, the platform’s three main election markets had recorded about $106.4 million in combined trading volume. The markets covered which party would win the most seats, Likud’s seat total and the next prime minister.

No trader has faced a public accusation of wrongdoing, and the review has not reached a conclusive finding. Polymarket’s rules prohibit trading based on stolen confidential information, illegal tips or events a trader can influence. When warranted, the company may ban wallets, pursue legal action or refer cases to law enforcement.
