Edward Lee has joined Polymarket as head of product for its exchange business, taking responsibility for product development tied to Polymarket US and the company’s international on-chain exchange.
Lee previously worked at Coinbase and Circle. He described his work over the past 10 years as focused on building infrastructure for the crypto industry, with his next role centered on products built on that foundation.
Lee also presented prediction markets as an early application of a broader idea in which ideas can be assigned prices and outcomes can be expressed through markets.
He thanked Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan and the company’s team for their confidence. Lee also welcomed contact and discussion with regulated-market participants, decentralized finance builders, traders and other partners.
The appointment adds product leadership as Polymarket develops its U.S. business alongside its international on-chain exchange.
