Dallas Fed CEO Lorie Logan said the Federal Reserve’s Oct. 28 decision to leave rates unchanged did not alter the direction of monetary policy after the September increase.

The Fed kept its federal funds target range at 3.75% to 4.00% after skipping a rate increase this week. The September rate increase was a 25-basis-point move and the Fed’s first hike in more than three years.
