Four Democratic senators say X handles Polymarket ads differently from Kalshi promotions, raising concern that its reporting options could give one prediction market an edge.

In a joint letter, Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto, Adam Schiff, Jacky Rosen and Richard Blumenthal said X's standard ad-reporting flow does not let users flag Polymarket ads. They said the same process accepts complaints about Kalshi ads and those from other advertisers.

The senators questioned whether the difference could give Polymarket an unfair competitive advantage. They also raised the possibility that it could benefit Donald Trump and his family, pointing to Donald Trump Jr.'s roles as a Polymarket investor and adviser. X is owned by Elon Musk.
