Kalshi Prices Tesla-SpaceX Merger Odds at 56% Before March 2027
The contract rose from 29% as Barclays analyst Dan Levy outlined a possible AI-focused combination. April and May deadlines also reached similar odds.

Kalshi’s market put the chance of a Tesla-SpaceX merger before March 2027 at 56% Friday morning ET, up from 29%. Contracts with April and May deadlines also climbed to similar levels.
A Wednesday note from Barclays analyst Dan Levy outlined a possible combination built around AI integration. The idea would link Tesla’s Robotaxi and Optimus programs with Grok and Macrohard. Levy also pointed to Terafab, a semiconductor project involving Tesla, SpaceX and xAI, as a potential driver of a merger.
The note floated an announcement before Tesla’s annual meeting, which must take place by Dec. 6, 2026. Elon Musk has described growing overlap between Tesla and SpaceX on Tesla’s latest earnings call. Tesla also presented its next-generation Roadster Thursday and linked the vehicle’s hover capability to SpaceX technology.
Tesla and SpaceX are both controlled by Musk and have collaborated before. TokenPost previously covered Musk’s view of a possible merger before 2028.
