Prediction Market Traders Canvass Voters for Midterm Trading Edge
Douglas Campbell has more than $800,000 in Kalshi profits, while David Bensoussan holds a Polymarket position worth more than $280,000 on Democrats winning the House.

Some traders on Kalshi and Polymarket are canvassing voters in person and examining voter data ahead of the U.S. midterms to seek an edge in election markets.
Douglas Campbell trades on Kalshi under the name AlexanderHam and works as an election model analyst. His accumulated profits exceed $800,000, placing him sixth among Kalshi election traders by profit.
David Bensoussan primarily trades on Polymarket as Scottilicious and has accumulated more than $1.5 million in profits. He holds a position worth more than $280,000 on Democrats winning the House of Representatives, an outcome Polymarket's market prices at about 94%.
Using voter outreach to find trading advantages has raised concerns about information asymmetry and insider trading. Polymarket opened an investigation this week into suspicious trading during Israeli elections.
