Prediction markets favored Democrats to control both chambers of Congress in early Tuesday afternoon readings on Nov. 3, with implications for committees overseeing digital asset regulation.
Polymarket put Democrats’ chances of winning the Senate at 76% and the House at 94%. Kalshi showed odds of 75% for the Senate and 94% for the House.
The midterm elections included all 435 House seats and 35 of the Senate’s 100 seats. If Democrats take control of Congress, party lawmakers could lead key committees with a role in digital asset regulation.
In Ohio’s Senate race, Kalshi gave candidate Sherrod Brown a 71% chance of defeating incumbent Sen. Jon Husted.
