XRP Nears Critical $1.30 Support as Bearish Pressure Builds

XRP is approaching a major technical support zone after failing to sustain momentum above key resistance levels. The cryptocurrency continues to trade within a tightening consolidation range, but recent price action suggests a possible bearish continuation pattern rather than a bullish recovery.

One of the biggest concerns for XRP traders is the repeated rejection near the 50-day moving average around $1.47. Every rally attempt toward that resistance area has quickly faded, creating a sequence of lower highs beneath a descending trendline. At the same time, XRP price is slowly drifting toward the crucial $1.30 support level.

If XRP breaks below $1.30 with strong confirmation, the market could see a larger downside move from the multi-month consolidation structure. Trading volume has also continued to decline during this sideways movement, a signal that often appears before a major volatility spike.

Technical indicators remain mixed. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is still below neutral territory, showing weak bullish momentum and limited signs of strong buyer accumulation. Despite the bearish setup, XRP has not fully broken down yet, and the $1.30 support zone remains extremely important for the asset’s short-term direction.

This level successfully held during several pullbacks in March, April, and May, making it a key defense area for bulls. If buyers manage to protect the support again and push XRP back above the $1.45-$1.50 resistance range, the asset could remain trapped in consolidation instead of entering a fresh decline.

For now, however, the overall XRP chart structure continues to favor bearish sentiment until a stronger bullish breakout is confirmed. Traders are closely watching the next move, as a decisive breakdown or recovery could determine XRP’s trend for the coming weeks.
